What is Guayusa Tea?

Guayusa (why-you-sa) tea is brewed from the leaves of the Guayusa plant. Dried and brewed in the purest water, it is revered by natural healers of its Amazonian native regions and used as a medicinal herb to treat many health ailments.

It is described as a mild tea, with a unique combination of stimulants that make it the perfect beverage of choice for waking up every morning. Guayusa tea is naturally caffeinated, and in fact has more caffeine than most other teas at about 90 mg per 8 ounces. Its caffeine is slowly released into the blood stream, introducing it gradually rather than in the sudden burst that many experience with their caffeinated beverages.
